It was held at the breathtaking, legendary, just re-opened Art Deco palais The Metropol. The performers were fantastic. Above, Bertoulle Beaurebec, The Pain Proof Priestess. She is incredible. More drawings of her on the vanilla site here and here!

Ms. Beaurebec is wearing a headpiece created by my friend Sylva Hattington of Bubbles and Frown.

Sylva did simply unbelievable costumery for the performance.

Since I am high-risk for severe COVID-19, I don’t plan to go anywhere except doctors until there is a vaccine.

Zum Starken August has been having live burlesque shows again since June, in accordance with the ever-changing regulations. You can see video of Valentina performing here and here!
